{get fresh}

Today, I made something practical. (Shock! Horror!)

Reusable bags for our fresh fruits and veggies, from white tulle. With a little stamping for personality.

Yum.

Thanks! Super easy -- and make me smile as I pick out my veggies!

I love these, so pretty! Do you use them when you go shopping, too? I feel bad using so many plastic bags when buying fresh produce and something like this would be great for that.

Another GREAT idea! thanks.

Just yesterday I was cringing at the amount of plastic packaging I am throwing out daily and was thinking of ways to try and cut down on that at the grocery shops.

Looks like you have done all my thinking for me xo

Yes, they come shopping with me... no more of those horrible little plastic bags that I can never manage to open!

Just have to say - I love, love, love this idea and will be busy using up the tulle in my cupboard that escaped the fairy frenzy of a few years ago.
Thanks for sharing - brilliant!

You're right. I am reeling from shock. But I'm also heartily impressed - I can't stand all the fruit and vegie plastic bags...

It is a super idea, yet so simple but someone had to think about it, thank you Astrid!

Fabulous idea to use tulle. I have been using old lacy/net curtains from the oppy, and some of them are too thick/dense to see your produce through. Pretty though.
