When Tilly was born, my grandmother, Mormor, gave us a tree. We picked out an oak and planted it in the garden in March. Today, we hung the tree with hearts.
In each heart is a little message to Mormor, who sadly passed away earlier this week. And though our own hearts are very full of sadness, we feel very grateful for the love and the memories that will live on.

Along that line of thought, trees represent the cycle of life each year.I planted a pistacio tree in the backyard when my grandson was born 4 & 1/2 years ago, and then a chines red maple when my grand daughter was born 2 years ago.I then planted a memosa tree to honor my 2 grown children & lastly a tree in honor of my 65th birthday.these are my treasured memory trees & enjoy them every day.
